Milan with City Tour

Our day out to Milan is a great way to discover the city. Explore the highlights with an official city guide then enjoy free time to see the sights in depth or hit the shops of one of the world's big four fashion capitals.

Our official city guide will take you to the Monumental Cemetery which houses a wide range of modern and classical Italian sculptures, Greek temples and obelisks. Famous people laid to rest at the cemetery include two Grand Prix drivers, artists, composers, writers and Nobel prize winners.

We carry on to the Sforza Castle which was built by the Viscontis and was the former seat of one of Europe’s leading courts of the Renaissance. After a visit of the castle complex we head to the centre of the city.

Once in the city centre you will pass the world famous La Scala opera theatre and walk through the elegant belle epoque, glass-roofed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele before finally reaching Milan's most famous building: the Duomo.

The Duomo is Italy's largest gothic building and is an intricate collection of spires and turrets. Inside you will find the Holy Nail and stained glass windows dating back to the 14th century.

During your free time you can explore the city even more: visit the costume museum at La Scala, head up to the roof terraces of the Duomo, revisit the castle to see the Rondanini Pietà by Michelangelo or hit the shops in Corso Vittorio Emanuele or even Via Montenapoleone!
